Blog Writing Assignment #5: Accomplishments

 The most important thing I accomplished this year is, of course, I passed the entrance examination for Kobe University. In fact, I wanted to enroll in the department of agriculture, but I was not smart enough to do so. However, now, I think the faculty of Maritime Sciences much better because this faculty handles various fields of maritime matters, engineering, or biology. Then, the second most important thing I accomplished this year is that I attended all of the classes I took. When we enter a university, we are left to the judgment of whether we attend a class we took or not. However, once we get into a habit of not coming to attend a class, we may behave in the same way in the future. So, I think that attending a class is very important.

 

 

 

 

 Next, the most important things I want to accomplish in the next year are that I enter the desired department and do a part-time job at a cram school. If I can't enter the desired department, it will be meaningless for me to have enrolled in this faculty. So, I absolutely want to enter the desired department. Then, now, I get much money from my parents, so I work and want to pay back some money. In order to do so, I think that a cram school is the best place.

Blog Writing Assignment #4: Leadership

 Today, a word "Leadership" becomes trendy. Even at my old school, many students will receive an education, what is called the leadership education. Then, what kind of person is regarded as a good leader and demonstrates qualities of leadership? In my opinion, a good leader is a strong-willed person who can harmonize various opinions. An English-English dictionary defines a leader as the person who leads or commands a group, organization, or country. So, my opinion is as same as a dictionary definition.

 However, I think that some talent is needed in order to be a good leader. The talent is the inborn ability inside the person to be liked by everyone. Of course, it is probable that a person is liked on the surface by everyone, but for example, if a person being liked on the mere face of the person by everyone is a leader, after that everyone may criticize the person for internal parts of the person. Unfortunately, we have great difficulty changing the internal parts and character. In this way, I think that internal parts of a person is most important thing, so qualities or characteristics to make a good leader depends on innate ability of the person. In short, leaders are not made but naturally born.

Blog Writing Assignment #3: How would your life be different without the Internet?

 Today, we are used to go onto the Internet in order to get important or necessary information, but without the Internet, our life would change completely now. The first biggest change is the speed to obtain information. Now, when we want to look something up, all we have to do is to be careful about dangerous information and click the right or left mouse button on the Internet. However, without the Internet, we would have to get the information from books or newspapers, so we would spend much time looking up only one thing about something. The second biggest change is the use of Internet trading. With the progress of Internet trading, we can manage large sums of money and make a lot of trade with many companies very easy. On the other hand, if it were not for the Internet, we would spend much time trading with a company. These changes are good points about the spread of the Internet.

 

 

 

 

 

 However, the spread of the Internet also causes a lot of vicious crime such as fraud. Instead of managing huge sums of money, it's possible that we will be deprived of much money. In this way, the Internet gives us many good and bad points, but I think that the benefits of the Internet are greater than the bad effects of that, so we wouldn't be able to lead a life now without the Internet. 

Blog Writing Assignment #2: How is English important for your job or future?

 Now, the Japanese people are required to see everything from a global viewpoint, so we have to acquire the ability to speak English and make ourselves understood in English anywhere or anytime. Besides, in the future, many companies in Japan may make their company workers use English in their companies. Honestly, however, I think that apart from an international conference, the Japanese companies don't have to use English in Japan. For example, if we don't speak English well, we will have no difficulty in living a happy life. In this way, it seems to me that English is not all.

 By the way, after graduating from this university, I'm not good at English, so I will not probably study English. What is worse, I don't like English, so I'm very tired now because of the four English classes: English oral Ⅱ, English reading Ⅱ, communication English 2 , and writing English 1. For this reason, I will never continue to study English after university. So, my goal for English is to speak English even a little before it is too late. This goal hasn't been achieved yet, but I believe that four English classes are very useful for me to speak English, so the goal will be achieved.

Blog Writing Assignment #1: Changing your hometown

My hometown Nishinomiya

 I was born in Nara, but when I was one year old, my family moved to Nishinomiya. For this reason, Nishinomiya is my hometown.

 As you know, in Nishinomiya, there is a very big stadium, what is called the Koshien Stadium.  Only elementary school  and junior high school students going to city schools in Nishinomiya have a great experience at the stadium. The experience is that many students of city schools in Nishinomiya gather and hold the school sports at the stadium, that is to say, they stand on the Koshien field. Of course, I also stood there. At that time, I was surprised that the stadium was much bigger than I had expected, but  the stadium is now even bigger than that time.

 Unfortunately, the stadium was repaired after I graduated from the elementary school, so for a few years, many students didn't stand on the Koshien field. They had bad luck, but now the school sports are held again. The relay race of the school sports is the most popular among many students in Nishinomiya, so they become passionately.
