Blog Writing Assignment #6: Advice for 1st Year Students

 In my opinion, the most important things at university are "independence" and "study." First, about "independence," when you can't understand something, what will you do? If you are a junior high school or high school student, you will soon ask your teacher them. However, you are a university student, so you need to look over academic literature in the library and try to work out them for yourself. If not, when you go out into the world, you will be able to do nothing by yourself. Therefore, you need to become "independence."

 Second, about "study," what do you enter a university for? It is, of course, for studying. If you have an easy time, you don't have to enrol in a university. Since you enter a university, it goes without saying that you should study. Then, when or how should you do these two things? In order to do so, you should reflect on yourself in the past. I think that the first year of university is the time you reflect on yourself in the past. Therefore, I want you to make good use of the first year of university by doing so.
